Swell Spots JoJu

The JoJu Spot was designed by Joanne Pickett, OTR and Judy Warnke, OTR to fit the tricky to address thenar web space (the area between your thumb and index finger). It can be used to soften fibrosis, reduce swelling, and protect the bony areas of the hand. Therapists can also use the Spot to soften carpal tunnel surgery scars too. It measures 4.5 cm wide by 7 cm long.

How it Works

The Swell Spot should be used with compression bandaging or a compression garment. The foam particles helps create localized tissue stretch and pressure differential when placed against the skin. This opens lymphatic gaps and encourages fluid movement, which reduces swelling.

Proprietary Material

The gray, microfiber material also help with this process. It clings to the skin to avoid unwanted movement and helps with the tissue stretch. It’s also breathable and wicking to keep you cool during your edema management.
