Floor-to-Ceiling Transfer Pole

Sammons Preston Transfer Pole offers a secure and safe support structure to assist mobility patients with transferring from a sitting position to a standing position. The floor-to-ceiling pole features a 20” padded hand grip that adjusts up to 39” from the floor. The transfer pole is tension mounted and can be installed in virtually any area of a room, wherever it is most needed.

Requires No Tools to Install

The transfer pole provides essential support needed for transfers made from the bed, chair, wheelchair or commode. The heavy gauge, epoxy-coated steel pole accommodates up to 200 lbs (40 kg) of user weight. The height of the pole adjusts from 92 to 100" (234 – 254 cm). Though heavy-duty and durable, the security pole weighs only 11 lbs (4 kg). To avoid slippage, do not position the floor mounting plate on loose rugs.

Optional Transfer Pole Swing Grip

For additional support, users have the option to purchase the Transfer Pole Swing Grip (sold separately). The curved grab bar is designed to help users rise to a standing position or to remain steady during transition. The swing grip includes an extra loop handle that pivots around the pole in 3/4" increments and locks into place at each of the eight possible positions.
