Retractable Monofilament

This 5.07 monofilament is primarily indicated for testing the feet of diabetic patients for loss of protective sensation associated with peripheral neuropathy. Patients who are unable to feel the pressure of the applied 5.07 filament should be considered at risk of developing pressure or neuropathic ulcers and should be referred to a specialist for further assessment. During use, never use on ulcerated or necrotic tissue.
