The FootFunnel is a hands-free shoe donning that provides safer and easier application and removal. Instead of struggling to bend over, or painfully rocking the foot back and forth trying to fit inside a shoe, the FootFunnel allows the user to simply put the device into the shoe and then place the shoe onto the floor. The dressing aid features a smooth surface that is easy to clean making it ideal for use in elderly care facilities, hospitals and rehabilitation clinics, and at home.
Alternative to Long Shoe Horn
The shoe aid is ideal for putting on shoes and is an innovative alternative to a long shoe horn. The FootFunnel works with both lace up shoes and loafers, and can be easily transferred from one pair of shoes to another. The user can simply place their foot into the entrance of the shoe and easily and comfortably slid their foot into the shoe with no bending, twisting, and straining.
Prevents Twisting and Reaching
The FootFunnel is designed for users with arthritis to increase independence with their lower body dressing by eliminating the need to bend forward. Placed on the back of the shoe, the cone shaped device makes it easier for the foot to slide into the shoe. The attached cord allows the user to pull the funnel out of the shoe, or the user can remove the funnel by using their other foot or a reacher.
