Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor Powered by OMRON Technology

This home-based, wrist blood pressure monitor is powered by OMRON Advanced Accuracy Technology. It is the first model of the OMRON Blood Pressure Series. The OMRON Advanced Accuracy Technology minimizes the impact your breathing and movements will have on your blood pressure reading results. Used on the wrist, the monitor stores 60 blood pressure readings. The Omron 3 Series includes an Irregular Heartbeat Detector, Hypertension Indicator, and a LCD digital display for easier reading. The wrist monitor fits any adult wrist between 5.3” to 8.5” in circumference.

Features the Hypertension Indicator to Compare BP Levels

The OMRON 3 Series features a one-touch design that is both lightweight and portable for checking your blood pressure on the go! The Hypertension Indicator displays your blood pressure readings compared to average blood pressure levels. If your systolic blood pressure reaches 130 mmHg or above and/or the diastolic blood pressure reaches 80 mmHg or above, the blood pressure indicator displays a ‘HIGH’ symbol. The BP monitor also features an Irregular Heartbeat Detector that is built in to detect fluctuations or irregular heartbeats while measuring blood pressure. If irregularities are detected outside of normal parameters, an indicator icon will alert users.

Helps Reduce Measurement Inconsistencies and Errors

The OMRON Series 3 uses the oscillometric method of blood pressure measurement. When the wrist cuff inflates, this monitor senses the pressure pulsations of the artery underneath. The pulses are called oscillometric pulses. The electronic pressure sensor then displays a digital reading of the blood pressure. The large digit display has a data averaging function that downloads memory from the last three readings taken within the last 10 minutes of use. To reduce measurement inconsistencies, it is recommended that users always measure BP on the same wrist. Blood pressure can differ between the right wrist and the left wrist and the measured blood pressure values can be different in result of that.
