Ideal for patients requiring the use of cushions in a wheelchair, Lacura Nonskid Solid Seat Insert eliminates the hammocking effect of sling seats. The insert creates a firm, flat base for any seat cushion and prevents internal rotation of the femurs. The insert is also designed to enhance comfort and reduce residual pressure for everyday wheelchair use.

High-Density Foam Construction

Made with high-density, radius bottom, foam construction, the solid seat insert can accommodate any positioning or pressure-relief cushion. It helps prevent sacral sitting and side-to-side tilt for improved sitting posture and pelvic balance. The solid seat insert is available in a variety of different sizes including: 22” x 18”, 20” x 18”, 20” x 16”, 18” x 18”, 18” x 16”, and 16” x 16”.

Non-Removable Vinyl Cover

Because increased pressure can cause pressure ulcers, it's important to use a solid seat insert placed underneath the wheelchair cushion. The seat insert features a non-removable, vinyl-coated polyester, non-slip cover that can easily be wipe clean between uses. The non-skid outer cover helps keep the cushion from moving as you shift in your seat.
