Padding for Use Under Compression Bandages

Komprex II is designed to provide superior padding for the management of lymphedema. While resembling strips of spaghetti, the uneven channeled surface of Komprex II helps soften thickened, fibrotic tissues through it’s gentle massage effect. Comprised of open cell, polyurethane foam surrounded by soft, non-woven, breathable and non-slip padding material.

Provides Gentle Micro-Massaging Effect

The channeling foam loosens hardened and fibrotic tissue while offering better air flow for greater patient comfort and compliance. When worn as part of a multilayered short stretch bandage system, Komprex II leaves harmless impressions on the skin which slowly reverse the fibrotic changes associated with longstanding lymphedema. Indicated for compression in the treatment of edema (lymphology and phlebology) and increases local pressure (in combination with other compression products).

Embedded in a Non-Woven Polyester Fabric

Individually wrapped in paper and a resealable bag, measurements of Komprex II include 65 x 65 cm (26" x 26"). To avoid obstructions of lymphatic flow, the foam line must always be applied in a direction lengthwise to the extremity with the soft, comfortable side of the material facing the body. Outer compression may be achieved with a layer of overlapping Rosidal K Short Stretch Bandages (IF_47939).
