The Dynamic Digit Extension Tube is a curved splint that applies 30 degrees reverse angle under the PIP joint to stimulate a spring-like mechanism. The gentle pressure that is distributed reduces the PIP joint flexion contractures. It is suitable for flexion contractures up to 80 degrees. The Neoprene splint provides a relaxing warmth, uniform circumferential pressure to help reduce edema, and is useful in scar tissue remodeling. It can be trimmed in length or in web space. The Extension Tube is ideal for use with acute injuries, post surgical repairs of the PIP joints, and to offset the PIP flexion in spinal cord injuries C7 or higher.
