Transport Chair

The ProBasics K4 Transformer Wheelchair is a dual purpose seat that converts from standard chair to a transport chair. The 24” self-propelling wheels can be easily removed with quick release technology. This exposes the rear 8” wheels and transforms the K4 into a transport wheelchair.

Wheelchair Features

The ProBasics K4 Transformer has 8”, full swivel front castors that are mounted on aluminum forks. It has detachable rear anti-tippers and swing away footrests with heel loops and composite footplates. The lightweight wheelchair is upholstered with black nylon, and is able to be easily wiped down as needed. It also includes an accessory pouch to store and protect small, personal items.

Foldable Design

The ProBasics K4 Transformer Wheelchair features a fold down back and easy release paddles. It can be slightly folded to move through narrow door and passageways. Or, it can be folded down completely for compact storage in between uses. This wheelchair is available in three seat size options: 16” x 16”, 18” x 16”, and 20” x 16”.
