A Convertible Staircase for Physical Therapy

This staircase is convertible. Easily convert from straight to corner stairs to fit your space and your patients’ needs. It’s an excellent tool to allow patients to practice walking up and down the stairs safely in a controlled environment. Each step features two full-width safety treads. The staircase has handrails for support while walking. The Metron Value Convertible Staircase is ideal for practicing stair use and turning and rotating on a staircase during physical therapy. Use the two sided staircase with two patients at a time for convenience in large rehab clinics.

Durable Stairs Made From High Quality Materials

This staircase has a hardwood plywood base with an ultra-durable, UV-cured topcoat finish. It uses steel fasteners and metal braces for extra support and durability. It features pre-assembled powder-coated 2” x 2” steel uprights and pre-assembled comfort grip, molded, solid hardwood handrails. The steps feature tough PVC edge tape safety treads. This convertible staircase is made of high-quality materials for durable, long-term use.

This convertible staircase has a 30”W x 30”W platform. It has a total length of 110” when straight and a length of 80” x 60” when in its corner configuration. The staircase has four 6”H x 30”W steps and six 4”H x 30”W steps. It has a 500 pound bariatric load capacity under normal use and requires a minimum 9’ ceiling.
