    this MISINFORMED picture is DANGEROUS!

    This man’s positioning actually goes against everything that clinicians try and teach their patients. Safest swallowing would be seated upright and not use the straw. if a straw is needed due to access issues , then they definitely should be seated upright and possible using a stopper in the straw or be supervised.

    Shame on you for misinforming the elderly
