The Univent's all-in-one design consists of a single-lumen endotracheal tube and an enclosed, movable bronchial blocker made of flexible latex-free material. Aids in facilitating surgery by collapsing the non-dependent lung, keeping blood and secretions from freely flowing to the healthy lung. With Univent, there is no need to stock separate left/right ETT, helping to simplify inventory management.
