Tristel™ DUO uses a CIO2 foam designed for the disinfection of ultrasound transducers, transducer holders, cables, keyboards, and ultrasound stations. A proven bactericidal, fungicidal, and virucidal, it can also be used on colposcopes, mammography compressor plates, dialysis machines, blood pressure cuffs, and other hard non-porous medical devices and surfaces.

How Does It Work?
Tristel™ DUO’s CIO2 formula destroys pathogens via electron exchange, sequestering electrons from the microorganism’s vital structures such as cell walls, membranes, organelles, and genetic materials. This causes a molecular imbalance leading to the microorganism’s death. This mode of action makes ClO2 highly efficacious, even at low concentrations.

Consistent & Fresh Delivery Every Time
DUO’s two-part delivery system includes separate containers of sodium chlorite and citric acid. When you press the pump, it dispenses 320 ppm chlorine dioxide consistently, on demand, to ensure every patient receives the same level of protection.

• 30 seconds: Viruses
