The patient comfort technology featured in these Antimicrobial Positioning Pads was developed over a two-year period in close cooperation with leading imaging centers to maximize patient comfort as well as conform to the specific requirements for compatibility and safety. It uses a heat-sensitive viscoelastic pressure managing material originally developed in conjunction with NASA that molds to the patient's exact body shape and contours to evenly distribute weight and pressure. The ultra-strong cover with durable nylon seams can be easily cleaned with any standard hospital disinfectant. (No bleach products)
