How long do drugs stay in the system and are detectable in urine tests?
Most drugs of abuse stay in the body for at least a few days after the last use and are traceable with urine tests. Opioids like oxycodone (OXY) are detectable for between 1 and 3 days after last use. Stimulants including cocaine (COC), meth (MET), and ADHD medications are detectable for about 2 or 3 days.
Benzodiazepines (BZO) are sedatives that are commonly prescribed for anxiety or insomnia. The number of adults misusing these drugs is increasing, with the largest group of people misusing being ages 50 to 64. Common Benzodiazepines include Valium, Xanax, and Klonopin. Benzodiazepines usually stay in your system for 2 to 7 days if being detected by a urine test but can be detected for longer if the use is repeated.
Barbiturates (BAR) are drugs mainly used to treat insomnia and seizures disorders. They could stay in the system for up to 6 weeks, but there are many factors involved.
